Kalau ditempat lain Jembatan putus kebanyakan diterjang banjir, tidak seperti halnya Jembatan Kacangan Benjeng Gresik ngak ada hujan apalagi banjir sore hari langsung ambles dan patah, beruntung saat kejadian tidak ada korban jiwa.
“Saya mendengar suara seperti bangunan ambruk “Breeg” cukup keras suaranya padahal jarak dengan pemukiman warga lumayan jauh sekitar 100 meter,” kata Alif warga sekitar.
“Jembatan ini berdiri di atas kali lamong, menjadi jalur alternatif, saya juga sering lewat jembatan ini kalau pas macet atau banjir,” kata warga Bulurejo.
“Jembatan ini sudah berumur lebih dari 10 tahun terlihat masih baru karena sebelumnya di cat oleh warga sekitar secara gotong royong, mungkin karena tanah kali lamong tergerus karena debit air tinggi sehingga paku bumi jembatan ikutan ambles,” kata Khusaini anggota BPD Bulurejo.
Sampai berita ini diberitakan belum ada konfirmasi dan informasi dari Pemerintah Daerah setempat karena kejadian Jembatan Ambles pas hari libur, semoga segera dilakukan perbaikan secepatnya oleh Dinas terkait.
