Lumajang , Gunung Semeru Mengeluarkan Awan Panas

Negesindonesia.com – Gunung semeru Lumajang Jawa Timur erupsi mengeluarkan awan panas dengan jarak luncur mencapai 4.5 km kearah utara Sabtu sore 17.30 WIB (16/01/2021).

Menurut keterangan Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB) Lumajang membenarkan bahwa Gunung Semeru mengeluarkan awan panas yang mengarah keutara sesuai dengan arah angin.

Sedangkan untuk hujan abu vulkanik diperkirakan mengarah ke utara, menyesuaikan arah angin. Adapun peristiwa tersebut juga dikonfirmasi oleh Bupati Lumajang, Thoriqul Haq bahwa perkiraan awal lokasi tersebut berada di daerah sekitar Desa Sumber Mujur dan Desa Curah Koboan.

“Gunung semeru mengeluarkan awan panas. Dengan jarak 4.5 kilo. Daerah sekitar Sumber Mujur dan Curah Koboan, saat ini menjadi titik guguran awan panas,” tutur Bupati Thoriqul

Sementara itu, masyarakat yang bermukim di sekitar Desa Sumber Mujur dan Desa Curah Koboan dan sekitarnya agar waspada dalam menghadapi potensi bencana yang dapat ditimbulkan.

Dalam hal ini, khususnya masyarakat di sekitar Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) Curah Kobokan agar tetap waspada dalam menghadapi adanya intensitas curah hujan yang tinggi, sebab hal itu dapat memicu terjadinya banjir lahar dingin.

Hingga berita jiwaini diturunkan, tim gabungan lintas Kementerian/Lembaga masih dalam proses pengembangan informasi dan belum ada keterangan adanya korban jiwa atas peristiwa tersebut.
