Negesindonesia.com – Tingginya kebutuhan tenaga konstruksi di Gresik, membuat Dinas pekerjaan Umum dan Tata Ruang (DPUTR) Gresik bekerjasama dengan Assosiasi Jasa Konstruksi di Kabupaten Gresik berupaya se maksimal mungkin untuk menyediakan tenaga konstruksi yang berkualifikasi baik.
Bidang Bina Jasa Konstruksi Dinas PUTR menjawab tantangan kebutuhan ini dengan menyiapkan tenaga Terampil konstruksi yang mumpuni dan bersertifikasi. Hal ini sesuai desakan kebutuhan permintaan tenaga bidang jasa konstruksi di Gresik yang setiap tahun semakin meningkat.
Ditengah pandemic covid-19 kali ini, Pemkab Gresik tetap melaksanakan pembekalan dan uji kompetensi via daring. Pembukaan kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Aula Dinas PUTR Gresik pada Selasa (8/9)
Menurut Imam Basuki Kabid Bina jasa Konstruksi, kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi atas Jumlah permintaan tenaga Konstruksi di Gresik yang tinggi. Saat ini Jumlah tenaga konstruksi di Gresik sekitar 10 ribu orang. Sedangkan tenaga konstruksi yang bersertifikat hanya sekitar 2500 orang. Pihaknya hanya mampu melaksanakan pembekalan dan sertifikasi tenaga konstruksi hanya sekitar 300 samai 400 orang pertahun.
“Hal inilah yang membuat kami selalu merasa perlu untuk terus menerus melakukan pembekalan dan sertifikasi kepada para tenaga konstruksi di Gresik. Hal ini sesuai PP 22 tahun 2020 yang menyebutkan Kewenangan Pemkab menyelenggarakan tenaga terampil” tandasnya.
Dia berharap, dengan tersertifikasinya semua tenaga konstruksi di Gresik tentu akan meningkatkan penggunaan tenaga kerja konstruksi lokal untuk melaksanakan pekerjaan konstruksi di wilayah Kabupaten Gresik. Selain itu, akan meningkatkan kualitas pekerjaan konstruksi di Gresik.
Pada pembekalan dan uji kompetensi via daring kali ini, pihak DPUTR Gresik hanya mampu mengikutkan 60 orang peserta. Mereka terdiri dari pengguna Jasa Konstruksi dari unsur pemerintah maupun dari pelaku jasa konstruksi. Beberapa peserta mengikuti aca ini melalui daring ditempatnya masing-masing.
Amin Zainullah selaku Narasumber dari Persatuan Insinyur Profesional Indonesia melalui daring google meet yang ikut memberikan pembekalan kepada peserta menjelaskan banyak hal tentang bagaimana menjadi seorang tenaga konstruksi.
Hal yang paling penting dan dituntut dalam pelaksanaan pekerjaan konstruksi adalah keselamatan kerja. Pekerja harus melengkapi alat pelindung keselamatan kerja yang sesuai kebutuhan. Mulai dari alat pelindung kepala (helm), pelindung mata dan telinga, masker, sarung tangan dan sepatu safety yang sesuai.
“Misalkan sarung tangan, kapan kita menggunakan sarungtangan dari plastic, kapan kita menggunakan sarung tangan dari kain yang berlubang, kapan kita menggunakan sarung tangan dari kulit keras. Hal ini harus disesuaikan dengan pekerjaan yang kita tangani” ujar Amin Zainullah pada salah satu penjelasannya.(Wn/NI).
